MDI

Source MDI for rigid foam, insulation, panels, adhesives and industrial polyurethane applications with technical procurement support from Amazin TechnoChem.

What is MDI?

MDI, or methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, is a key isocyanate used in polyurethane chemistry. It reacts with polyols to form rigid foams, insulation systems, adhesives, coatings, elastomers and structural PU products. MDI is widely used where strength, dimensional stability, thermal insulation and closed-cell foam performance are important. It is especially relevant for cold-chain insulation, PU panels, appliance insulation, spray foam and industrial rigid foam systems. Amazin TechnoChem supports industrial buyers with MDI sourcing for production environments where quality, compatibility and supply reliability matter.

Built for the Bottom Line — and the Long Term.

Selection and Supply Process

Identify End Use

Rigid foam, panel, spray, adhesive or elastomer application is defined.

Review Polyol Compatibility

The MDI requirement is checked against the polyol system, process ratio and performance target.

Align Documentation

COA, TDS, MSDS and handling requirements are reviewed for procurement and plant teams.

Plan Supply Continuity

Packaging, storage, logistics and recurring supply are coordinated for production needs.
